Under the leadership of husband and wife team, Matthew and Amy Young, Laing+Simmons Young Property is expanding its real estate offering with a new boat brokering service for Pittwater locals.
Laing+Simmons Young Property has been supporting local artists and charities, operating out of a hybrid space at Careel Bay Marina called The Studio. They have also received funds from generous Northern Beaches locals for their not-for-profit community initiative.
Coming from a multi-generational sailing family on Pittwater, with experience racing and cruising yachts around the world, Mr Young said the expansion feels natural.
“This is an opportunity to combine passion with experience in a way that enables us to
provide a wider range of services to our core clientele.”
“The unique community we’re part of in Pittwater means there are real synergies between our real estate business and boat brokering services, as the vast majority of local boat owners own property locally too. Serving these customers is made all the more convenient from our Careel Bay Marina premises.”
Mrs Young said the opportunity to expand real estate services into complementary boat brokering services was too good to refuse.
“The Pittwater foreshore is our core market so a complementary boat brokering service makes sense, particularly given our Careel Bay Marina location. We’re grateful to the Marina and Laing+Simmons for supporting this natural evolution of our services, meaning we can extend our office space to both sides of the Marina, making us easy to find.”
