Also known as ‘La Belle Mansion’, the opulent residence is best known for having featured in the Canadian sitcom ‘Schitt$ Creek’, one of the lockdown breakout Netflix success stories of 2020 (the original show first aired on CBC in 2015.)

Starring Canadian comic actors (and co-creator) Eugene Levy and Catherine O’Hara, it featured Eugene’s own son Dan playing his son in the series and Annie Murphy playing the daughter.

The jokes explode from the ‘fish out of water’ situations of a hyper-rich family suddenly losing it all and having to move to a backwater rural town, which is the only asset they are allowed to keep after their business sinks.

In last year’s Emmy’s, the show walked off with nine awards for its sixth and final season.

So, fans of the show now have the chance to live the dream and opulence that La Belle Mansion offers.

The property has been on the market before, originally being listed in 2018 at C$21 million (the Canadian dollar trades at almost the same as an Australian), whereas today’s price is a relative snip at C$14.98 million.
