- 17-storey beachfront apartment development at Burleigh Heads, Gold Coast
- 31 apartments, no more than 2 per floor, at least 200 sqm space each
- The "only exclusive, owner-occupier product currently in the Burleigh Heads market"
A luxury ‘seashell-inspired’ beachfront apartment is set to rise at Burleigh Heads, on the Gold Coast, half an hour’s drive north of the NSW border.
The launch by Allure Property Corporation of its 88 Burleigh project will provide uninterrupted, never to be built out views of the beach and its famous point break.
The $90 million development will comprise a 17-level tower with 31 residences, in a beachfront position along The Esplanade.
According to the developer, it’s the only exclusive, owner-occupier product currently in the Burleigh Heads market. Each apartment will offer over 200sqm of living space, with no more than two per floor.
Full-floor sub-penthouses will span more than 400sqm, with a penthouse topping things off on Level 17.
Apartment prices start from north of $2 million.
All the lower-level apartments feature three bedrooms, and the upper-level sub-penthouses have four bedrooms. Each apartment’s lobby opens directly on a sky garden forming a vertical green spine on its northern and southern facades.
DBI Director Raith Anderson, part of design team that has been shaping the Gold Coast’s ever-changing skyline for more than 40 years, says 88 Burleigh has been imagined as a “living and breathing extension of the beautiful beachfront location”.
“The base of the building showcases cascading subtropical seaside landscaped terraces and a sculpted scalloped planted awning which extends the vertical green spine all the way to the luxuriant landscaped ground floor and lobby.”

A boutique residents club on the ground level will have lounge, kitchen and bar facilities as well as a double beach shower.
The development is within walking distance of everything Burleigh Heads has to offer, from its beach to trendy James St shopping, dining and café precinct as well as the proposed new light rail station.
Leading Queensland marketing agency Place Projects has been appointed as the project marketing team.
No doubt, Asian buyers will be interested in the ’88’ (double eight / double prosperity) address.
