Mulpha Australia, owner of the InterContinental Hayman Island Resort has released a limited number of 15 elite luxury villas in the tropical surrounds of Hayman Island on the Great Barrier Reef. Construction of the first villas is expected to commence in March 2021.

The release comes just after a $150 million refurbishment of the resort and its recent recognition as Australia’s best resort in the annual HM Awards.

Meeting increased demand

Designed to meet the increase in demand for luxury lifestyle products, it is expected that Hayman will benefit from strong domestic demand, as well as a strong resurgence of international demand once international travel resumes.

The Hayman Estates offer views of Whitsundays waterways all within walking distance of the Hayman Intercontinental Resort, restaurants, pool, health spa, gymnasium, leisure, and marina facilities.

The villas will offer an open plan layout, specially designed for the tropical setting, with a large fully appointed kitchen, dual living areas with balconies stretching to the private swimming pool.

Mulpha GM of Sales and Development, John Hughes says the Whitsundays region and The World Heritage Great Barrier Reef offer an unmatched lifestyle, with direct airline access to the major Australian east coast capital cities making it ideal to use as either a residential base or holiday investment property.

“It’s your own slice of paradise set in one of the most sought-after leisure destinations in the World. This is privacy at its best or simply a luxurious resort living at its best.”
