  • The Windsor Park apartments will be built at 61-71 McIlwrick St and will be move-in ready by 2024.

Trendy Prahran will soon be home to Windsor Park, a collection of high-end apartments built by Sinclair Brook and Wilbow Group.

The chic Melbourne suburb of Prahran is renowned for its fashion and nightlife, squished between the historically high-end suburb of Malvern and St Kilda.

“The unique combination of being situated on a park, in a quiet side street, and having magnificent city vistas makes these apartments a true unicorn in the real estate market.”

Leonard Teplin, director, Marshall White Projects

Architects Jackson Clements Burrows are behind an impressive portfolio, with projects such as the Bendigo Art Gallery Redevelopment, Buckhurst St Apartments, and the Icon Apartments showcasing their expertise in blueprinting chic Melbourne developments.

The interiors will be curated by Hecker Guthrie.

The central courtyard of Windsor Park apartments will provide a focal point for the complex, and residents will enjoy a ‘tranquil oasis’.

It’s anyone’s guess as to whether bold delineation or the sought-after location will attract attention from buyers, but a $1.7 million price tag certainly suggests the median unit price in Prahran is poised for an upward swing.

The average unit price in Prahran has not deviated dramatically in the past 15 years, very gradually shifting slightly higher to its current value of just under $500,000.

Being located within walking distance of many of the most exclusive boutiques in Victoria, the interior spaces have particularly high standards to live up to.

Two-bedroom residences at Windsor Park will have a total floor space of 137 square metres, while the larger three-bedroom apartments will range from 121 sqm to 265 sqm, with up to 118 sqm of outdoor living area.

They will feature V-ZUG appliances, Brodware fittings, Liebherr fridge freezers and natural stone or tile surfaces.

A palette of earth tones, concrete, and soft timber is set to provide a calming frame for personalised decor.

Prahran is home to a slew of new high-end developments including BHC’s Williams Rd two and three-story townhouses, architects Wood Marsh’s Sydney St residences, and Little Projects’ Grattan St apartments.

The project is receiving around 50 enquirers per week and the collection of 33 apartments is expected to be move-in ready by 2024.
