Just a few days after New Sensation Homes announced it was going into liquidation, another Perth company is joining the conga line of collapsed builders

Clarkson-based Home Innovation Builders is expected to formally appoint liquidators as soon as today.

Increased labour costs and supply shortages – significantly impacting cash flow – has severely impacted the financial strength of building companies despite the hot market.

Many have failed to turn off sales pipelines once full, leading to too much work.

This is impacting all businesses in the sector from smaller operations to larger builders that have been operating for decades.

Over the past year large builders such as Pindan, Condev and Probuild went into administration
