Sanctuary Cove lifestyle community is enjoying a stellar sales run off the back of the property boom at the top end of the market, notching over $100 million sales in recent months.
Stand out results include two $10 million plus sales of waterfront properties, two $5 million plus homes sold under the hammer and a $3.25 million transaction for a vacant lot of land.
“Sanctuary Cove has always been an aspirational destination, which is clearly a key draw card for the interstate market seeking the idyllic waterfront lifestyle with high end amenity at every turn.”
Ray White sales consultant, Matt Gates
“The auction results alone are an unprecedented outcome as it’s incredibly rare for such high-end properties to sell under the hammer in Sanctuary Cove.”
Notable sales to date include the $8.8 million sale of 2102 The Circle, the $6.1 million under the hammer sale of 7402 Marine Drive East, and the $5.2 million sale of 5705 Anchorage Terrace.
Golf upgrade
What would the Gold Coast be without its golf?
One of Australia’s best resort golf courses Links Hope Island is planning a major upgrade and remodelling of its clubhouse, and 110 more apartments.
A golf academy is being established along with a new golf driving range and practice facilities. The plans also include a new wellness centre, boutique hotel and yet more luxury apartments.
After successfully delivering The Gallery, a premium residential precinct at the Hope Island Resort, developer GH is now keen to complete the final stage of the master plan.
Although much of the master plan is permitted, GH is seeking an amendment to the planning scheme to allow an additional 110 luxury apartments and an 8-storey building. Increasing the height of one residential building allows for a smaller footprint, less building bulk and more open space for lush subtropical landscaping, said GH.
“Our development master plan will deliver a sustainable future for the Links Golf and Wellbeing businesses, while creating a vibrant, activity-based residential-resort precinct. We are also confident it will be the best outcome for the Links members and residents of Hope Island Resort,” said Ellen Guan, Director of GH.
