Prime land in Shenton Park, a stone’s throw from the Perth CBD, has been released to market.

Lot 36 is located within the 15.8 hectares Montario Quarter, the land sits on the former Shenton Park Rehabilitation Hospital site.

Opposite the Shenton Quarter development, Lot 36 is 5,263 square metres and zoned R160.

The land offering follows four other development site sales within the Montario Quarter, the Hon Dr Tony Buti, Minister for Lands, said:

“Montario Quarter will be a sustainable, attractive and vibrant new residential community, with more than 25 per cent of the estate devoted to public open space and parklands.”

Testament to the project sustainability aims, sustainable buildings and communities authority, The Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA) has “recognised Montario Quarter as being among the world’s leading sustainable developments”

Montario has been accredited by the GBCA  as a 6-star Green Star Community.

“This is only the second time a Western Australian development has received this accreditation, and the first infill development in WA to receive it.”


The entire quarter is expecting to create more than 1,100 homes ” across a range of housing types”.
