- Alba Residences will be 21-storeys high
- Prices for residences begin at $2.25M
- Comes as competition is fierce in the Burleigh Heads beachfront
The latest addition to the Gold Coast’s luxury apartment frenzy has been announced with Devine Development Group unveiling plans for a project along the Burleigh Heads beachfront.
The news comes as competition is fierce for the beachfront area, with one local agent labelling the bidding as “ferocious“.
Many projects have been underway in Burleigh Heads, including Allure Property Corporation’s $90 million 17-level apartment tower, also along The Esplanade.
Devine’s $105 million Alba Residences at North Burleigh will consist of full-floor and half-floor residences over 21 levels, priced from $2.25 million.
Devine Development Group, headed by David Devine, has already opened a display office to capture the strong interest in the Gold Coast, especially for the Burleigh Heads luxury market.
Mr Devine said the Group’s timing to enter the market could have not been better.
“We have worked for a long time to bring a project together that epitomises beachfront apartment living and Alba is the creation of that.”
“We believe is it a fantastic time to enter the market. Burleigh Heads is undoubtedly one of the most sought after residential locations for the luxury downsizer anywhere in Australia and there is certainly currently a shortage of new apartment product tailored to this market.”

Architectural firm Bureau Proberts will be designing the project with Mim Designs curating the interiors.
JLE Projects have been tasked with marketing the project, which is located on a very tightly held beachfront precinct.
“Our team of architects and designers have truly delivered.”
“The convergence of sophisticated architectural design and interior styling with uninhibited views and the unparalleled location of Australia’s most recognisable beach, Alba is the pinnacle of contemporary beachfront living.”
Jamie-Lee Edwards, JLE Projects
The full-floor apartments span approximately 436sqm and will feature four bedrooms and bathrooms. The half-floor apartments span around 218sqm and feature three bedrooms.
Mr Devine added many Australians who are seeking a lifestyle change rank Gold Coast highly.
“Interstate migration to the Gold Coast is very strong as is the value that the Gold Coast offers compared to the southern states. The market is certainly leading the way nationally.”
