An elegant Hamptons-style home in Wagstaffe has recently joined the market, with expectations to become the Central Coast’s most expensive property.

The magnificent waterfront property, located at 6 Bulkara Street Wagstaffe, features impressive waterfront views and a spacious 2190sqm block.

The property is currently being campaigned for expressions of interest by Central Coast Belle Property Principal Cathy Baker, with hopes to fetch $13.5million.

Ms Baker sold the property in 2020 for a Central Coast record at the time of $9.5 million, and is eager to see the property reclaim the title in its current campaign.

Incredible interiors

Number 6 Bulkara Street, alternatively named Agave, is no stranger to ambitious accolades. The homes was previously named Australian House of the Year and best Custom-Built Home at the 2018 Housing Industry Association awards.

Built by Construct Central Coast and designed by JPR Architects, the two storey home features an enviable seven bedrooms, five bathrooms and four car spaces.

The master bedroom is located on the ground floor while all others are located on the second floor, each with their own ensuite.

Among the home’s standout indoor features are a walk-in cellar, gourmet kitchen, premium entertaining spaces and three generous living spaces.

Premium waterfront views

The prestigious Wagstaffe home is as incredible outside as inside, set in a prime waterfront location in Sydney’s sought-after Central Coast.

The home is surrounded by landscaped tropical gardens and features a custom-designed playground sure to excite the kids.

For the adults, the property lacks nothing in excitement with an outdoor entertaining lined by timber decking, featuring a barbecue and an infinity pool overlooking the water.

Residents can also revel in their own private boatshed and state of the art jetty and mooring, allowing them to enjoy the recreational and water sport opportunities of the coast.

“You can’t beat the location, aspect and size of this incredible waterfront property. Built on nearly 2200sqm of prime north-facing deep-water land on the doorstep of beautiful Bouddi National Park, 6 Bulkara Street is a rare gem that offers the finest in luxury waterfront living.”

Cathy Baker, Central Coast Belle Property

From the resort-style pool to the private entertaining area and the well thought out bedrooms and chic light-filled living spaces, it is the epitome of coastal living and the ideal holiday home,” Mrs Baker said.

Quirky local history

Set inside the exclusive San Toy Estate, the Hamptons-style home required special permission to be built due to the estate’s strict rules against certain colours, including white.

The estate was previously owned by the late Rod Radford, former pharmacist and local icon, who granted the special consent.

Mr Radford was most well-known for driving his amphibious car across Brisbane Waters prior to the construction of the Rip Bridge.

In another interesting turn of events, the property added another Australian icon to its acquaintances with model Elyse Knowles joining the current campaign.

Ms Knowles partook in a lifestyle shoot at the property as part of Central Coast Belle Property’s marketing campaign, in a bid to increase attention for the prestigious home set to see new local price records soar.
