Hitting the market with a $40 million price tag, this apartment will attract the Sydney-sider seeking the luxury lifestyle with the pocket to pay.

The penthouse is one of 58 apartments in ‘The Harrington Collection’, a development designed by FJMT and developed by Hannas and Golden Age Group.

Construction of the project was completed in late 2021 but this is the first time that the penthouse doors have been opened to the public.

Located in The Rocks this fully styled apartment offers views of the Harbour Bridge and Opera House.

Spanning 483sqm and two levels, the penthouse has three bedrooms, each with its own ensuite, plus a multipurpose room and rooftop terrace on the upper level.

Highland Property Group has been appointed to manage the sale of the penthouse which will officially hit the market on 14th April.

Highland CEO, David Highland described the apartment as the “pinnacle of luxury”.

“We are very eager to open the doors to The Harrington Collection penthouse so that prospective buyers can experience first hand the level of luxury and vantage on offer. ”

“Never again will a product of this calibre be delivered to such an iconic Sydney destination, positioning the Harrington Penthouse as one of the most exclusive residential addresses Sydney was ever welcomed.”

This listing follows Highland’s record-breaking $60 million transaction late last year. The Sydney uber-mansion which some labelled Australia’s finest home exceeded sales expectations.

“This spate of high-end apartment sales that we have facilitated really underpins the rising trend towards luxury apartments as a primary residence,” Mr Highland said.

“When you pair premium location with the highest standard of residential design, it becomes hard to conceive a better home than The Harrington Collection penthouse.”

“This particular address merges seclusion with connectivity in a way that few projects can offer. The Rocks is a bustling area filled with character, without the raucous nightlife. The Harrington Collection is perfectly positioned so that its residents can slip in and out of the nearby amenities in complete privacy.”

The $350 million Harrington Collection includes 58 apartments with one-, two- and three-bedroom offerings.

The ground floor contains a unique collection of terrace homes with two design styles. The first collection is a contemporary Manhattan Soho range and the second a historic collection of refurbished terraces that originally occupied the site.

Of the residences on offer, 75% have already sold. Buyers so far are said to be largely local business entrepreneurs and holiday homemakers.
