  • Luxe Listings Sydney will premiere globally in 240 countries and territories in July

The TV streaming war to win your attention continues, with the latest rolling out its 2021 line-up, which includes a new Sydney-based real estate show.

Amazon Prime has green-lighted seven new original content Australian shows for this year, including Luxe Listings Sydney.

The show will look at the top end of the property market in the harbour city, and be anchored by successful agents Gavin Rubinstein, D’Leanne Lewis, and Simon Cohen.

Mr Rubenstein is the founder of The Rubenstein Group at Ray White, which describes itself as “the leading agent in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.” Mr Rubenstein won top NSW real estate salesperson across the Ray White Group from 2013 through to 2019 inclusive, and was the number one selling principal across Australia and New Zealand for the group in 2020.

D’Leanne Lewis is Principal at Laing + Simmons Double Bay/Bondi Beach, with a 29 year track record in the company. From 1997-2015 she was top income producer in Laing + Simmons network Australia wide, as well as top auction lister.

Simon Cohen is CEO and founder of Cohen Handler, and Director at Farquharsons Executive Rentals, where has worked since 2010. Cohen Handler describes itself as the “largest buyers agency in Australia”, with offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane as well as Singapore and Los Angeles.

Amazon said it had invested $150 million into local productions, backing 2,500 local jobs, and 14 original series to date.

Luxe Listings Sydney will offer viewers an “intimate look into the buying and selling of high-end, luxury real estate”, according to its promotional material.

Produced by Eureka Productions and executive produced by Chris Culvenor, Paul Franklin, Rikkie Proost and Sophia Mogford, the show has been developed by Kentel and is co-produced by executive producers Benjamin Scott and James Kennedy.

The Luxe Listings Sydney show will premiere globally in 240 countries and territories on 9 July, 2021.
