A large infill development site in the prestigious Perth suburb of Mosman Park has been listed for sale, with the current owner occupiers moving to another site.

60 McCabe Street, a 27,924 sqm site, has been owned and occupied by Rocky Bay Limited, a disability services provider, since 1978. The organisation intends to build a new premise and relocate to Belmont to provide better services to their stakeholders.

Currently, the site has an older-style administration building that incorporates an indoor sports activity centre, therapy pool and teaching facilities.

The site also has a nursing home with 24 beds, potential for a steady source of income for the future owners.

Tony Delich and Zach Schreier of Knight Frank will take the property to market ia an expression of interest campaign.

Mr Delich said the property is “one if a kind opportunity” given it is surrounded by the vibrant community of Mosman Park.

“An incoming developer for this site will have a blank canvas to create a vision for a new master planned residential community within the sought-after and premium suburb of Mosman Park,” he said.

“We expect significant interest from a wide range of major developers and high net worth individuals already active in Perth, as well as interstate buyers looking for opportunities on Australia’s west coast.

“The site is just 14 kilometres southwest of the Perth CBD and five kilometres from the Fremantle City Centre, and is easily accessible from the Stirling Highway and Wellington Street.

“It is in a prestigious location surrounded by Perth’s most highly sought-after, affluent and established suburbs, including Claremont, Cottesloe and Peppermint Grove.”

Expressions of interest for the property end Wednesday, 26 October.
