Sydney property developer Central Element and MaxCap Group have received planning approval and submitted the development application for Ethos.
The $150 million luxury mixed-use project on the corner of 15 Ellis St & 753 Pacific Hwy will be home to 49 one, two and three-bedroom residences across 16 levels.
Additionally, the development will feature circa 1,200 sqm of retail and commercial space, along with communal wellness spaces for residents and public art.
Ethos is the first premium residential offering in Chatswood for nearly four years, and is aligned with the Chatswood CBD Planning and Urban Design Strategy 2036.
“We’re excited to announce that our development Ethos in Chatswood has received Planning Proposal approval and that we have submitted the Development Application,” commented Nathan Chivas, Managing Director of Central Element.
“We’re also excited to be leading the revitalisation of residential living in Chatswood, with Ethos being the first offering of new apartment product in the area in the last four years.
“We’ve worked closely with the State Government and Willoughby City Council throughout all stages of planning to ensure our development facilitates future growth and employment, achieves exceptional design, and contributes to a distinctive, resilient and vibrant CBD in Chatswood.”
Designed by SJB Interiors, the project will feature a resident-only Wellness Centre. There will be The Sky Lounge which has casual seating opening onto a terrace.
Completion of the development is expected in 2024, with the sales campaign beginning in the middle of this year.
The news comes as MaxCap Group has tipped over more than $15.5 of investments since its inception in 2007.
