  • PWG securities was officially removed at the end of trading today

Earlier this month, Primewest (ASX: PWG) announced that it has accepted the takeover bid from Centuria Capital Group (ASX: CNI). At the time CNI owned 76% of Primewest.

The takeover offer was initially made back in April. Centuria said the resulting merged group will be the fourth largest ASX listed real estate fund manager behind Dexus (ASX: DXS), Charter Hall Group (ASX: CHC), and Goodman (ASX: GMG).

The takeover offer period was extended from 17 June to 24 June, so the time now elapsed.

Today

Primewest will now be removed from the official list of the ASX at the close of trading today. The last trading price for PWG securities on 24 June was $1.46, the shares first having traded back in 2019 at $1.18.

Across today’s trading, CNI opened at $2.71, peaking in the early morning at $2.75 before closing at $2.74.

Following the announcement, Centuria released the list of top 20 holdings in the company.
