Jules Lewin

I was admitted as a lawyer in South Africa in 1980 and migrated to Australia in 2003, where I purchased a settlement agency and established a law firm after being admitted as a solicitor in Australia in 2004. My current firm, Charthill Legal, was established in June 2009 and has grown to be a boutique commercial and property law firm. With over 41 years’ experience, I offer practical advice to my clients which is outcome based and at reasonable rates. My areas of practice are property settlement, commercial contracts, leases, wills and probate, and consumer law. In 2014, I published a book “Legal Eagle: A Guide to Buying Property without the Legalese”. I am Chair of the Belmont Enterprise Centre (which provides business advice to small businesses) and I also assist the Cancer Council in preparing Wills pro bono for people living with cancer.
