The best and brightest of Australia’s real estate sector took centre stage at the 8th PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards Australia, held for the first time at the Shangri-La Sydney. The event, hosted by PropertyGuru Group (NYSE:PGRU), brought together leading developers, architects, and industry visionaries from across New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, Western Australia, and beyond to celebrate achievements and innovation within one of the Asia-Pacific’s most vibrant markets.

Setting the Gold Standard for Excellence

Presented across 20 prestigious categories and supported by Sub-Zero and Wolf, this year’s ceremony saw Eterno Property Group sweep six awards, including the coveted Best Developer title. The company’s headline project, The Newlands, captured both Best Apartment Development Australia and Best Nature Integrated Development, while further recognition went to their signature developments Ode Double Bay and Munro House, as well as their office headquarters.

Honouring Innovation and Sustainability

Kuber Projects made headlines as Best Breakthrough Developer, winning for their Kuber Villas developments in Mandurah and Golden Bay. Skyland Group earned distinction as Best Luxury Developer New South Wales for Eliza Darling Point, and Managing Partner Travis Su received the inaugural Rising Star Award for championing sustainable luxury and innovative, low-impact living design.

Meanwhile, Dr. Bay Yeo of Exal Group was named Real Estate Personality of the Year, applauded for community-focused, owner-centric approaches to student housing and sustainable design.

Celebrating Diverse and Dynamic Achievements

Waterfront and urban projects stood out this year, with The Dunes, Scarborough by Edge Visionary Living and Wanda View by 16MC Developments leading the accolades. Notable winners also included Eve Residences by Homecorp (Best Oceanview Apartment Development), Maris by MRCB International (Queensland), and First Light by DCF Property Group (Victoria).

Winners of the 2025 PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards Australia will advance to the highly anticipated Asia Property Awards Grand Final, to be held on the 12th of December 2025 in Bangkok. The annual event continues to position Australia as a pillar of innovation and excellence within the global real estate community.
