Amid high levels of activity in Western Sydney, real estate agency Laing+Simmons will open its first new office this year.

It is also the first since the group was purchased by a team of network partners in late January. It will offer a full suite of real estate services such as sales, property management auction services and project marketing.

Aldo Palermo, a 20-year veteran of Laing+Simmons, will lead the new Laing+Simmons West Hoxton Austral office, having previously led the Fairfield team.

Mr Palermo hopes the new office will target opportunities in the Ausral, West Hoxton, Leppington, Edmondson Park and Denham Court communities, given the burgeoning south-west market.

“This is a region undergoing substantial change which will see Sydney’s south west take on a greater role in the city’s, and the state’s, economy.”

“Major new residential projects in Leppington and Edmondson Park, as well as new land subdivisions across the south west corridor, are creating a new future for this key growth area.”

Mr Palermo said nearby infrastructure investments such as the Badgerys Creek airport will bring flow-on economic benefits such as new jobs, making the area highly appealing to buyers.

“It all bodes well for the local real estate market, particularly with demand so strong and interest rates at historical lows,” he addded.

Laing+Simmons CEO, Leanne Pilkington, has welcomed the new West Hoxton|Austral office to the group’s network, praising Mr Palermo’s contribution.

“Aldo has been a valued member of the Laing+Simmons family for many years and we’re pleased he’s embarking on a business ownership journey with us,”

“This area of south western Sydney is an important growth market for Laing+Simmons and Aldo is the ideal leader to represent our brand in the local community.”
