Bushmead South has exceeded pre-launch expectations, selling over 50% of the first release in just a few weeks.

Notably, there has been an overwhelming demand for the Overwatch Townhomes, particularly among first home buyers.

The news comes as over 70% of existing residents in Bushmead North add they would recommend the Cedar Woods-built estate, given what they describe as a “strong sense of community”.

Bushmead North was launched back in 2017 as Perth’s newest suburb, and the majority of the estate has since been sold out.

Cedar Woods has established a partnership with Creating Communities, which facilitated two on-site community events, with nature-lined walking trails through 185 hectares of retained bushland set to be opened, linking the two developments. This will add to the five parks and six kilometres of walking trails currently present in Bushmead North.

Cedar Woods WA State Manager, Ben Rooser, is adamant the success of Bushmead is highly attributable to the estate’s community.

“A major contributor to the southern cell’s early success has been the prominence of the existing sense of community at Bushmead,” he said.

“Our work with Creating Communities has seen the estate thrive and we’re so thrilled to be extending this further to our newest residents.

“Bushmead South purchasers can look forward to Saturday coffee mornings, walking clubs and resident Easter and Christmas events come their move in date.”

Bushmead is currently one of only a few WA communities to have been awarded the Urban Development Institute of Australia’s (UDIA) 6-Leaf EnviroDevelopment Accreditation.
